Free music download(with review)

Ok I found this compilation on psynews.org. I downloaded and reviewed it, pretty good I highly recommend checking it out. Oh you'll have to register with psycore.eu before you can download.

Shock Blast – V/A – 3.5 / 5
Psy Core Records – This is a pretty good compilation. Most of the tunes would fall into the full on category, but there is a large amount of sonic variation. From the electro funk of Huja boy to the Cheese Mika hologram remix; there is a little something for everybody. What makes it even better is you can download a copy for free from: http://www.psycore.eu/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=9&title=v/a
Check it out. (Oh also I’ve included the “!-!!!!!” system of rating energy or intensity in this review, giving readers a sense of power as well as the quality.

1.	Hujaboy – Liquifried – (3.5/5)
!!
My X-room mate introduced me to his Black Belt album a few months ago and I must say I was enamored with Hujaboy at first. He has a style that is distinctly his own, and this song is no different. It starts out with some techy tweeps and twurps which progress beautifully into a full grown melody. The beat makes me feel like I’m spinning in circles, possibly drunk, and the melody comes round and round at me until the break. A nice filter buildup brings it up to a little bit of a booty shaking stomper. After the break it builds up towards the end. Fun stuff.

2.	Safi Connection – Control Freak –(3/5)
!!!
This song starts off with a sample of some guitar like instrument that sounds like its tuned down, almost eerie but not quite. There are rustlings of sound that bring in the bass line, which reminds me of Mario Brothers because it stays the same for a couple measures, jumps up , then back down for a couple, then lower. Nice progressive tension and release, the track almost seems to be breathing! The break was kind of boring :( Progressive back end build on this one as well.

3.	Mika – Relax (hologram RMX)(3.5/5)
!!!!
It comes in straight and hard, a driving skipper if you will. The melody is pretty fun and playful hints of piano with hoover sounding synths going back and forth between each other. OK the build up to the break is just crazy, something familiar, oh wait a little break beat thrown in! Here it comes, oh wait nope more of that bass line, hah it tricked me I like it when an artist teases me. Relax? Oh mother of god, Cheese wiz, holy shit this one could be played at the skating rink. Oh well this is good cheese, like a pepper jack or a brie. Oh and the end builds down.

4.	2Minds – Eatio Ratio (3.5/5)
!!!.
Oh melodic intro that starts to go off pitch, hrm I gotta funny feeling about this one. It has a simple but effective bass line, almost breakish. There are lots of of light fluffy airy parts before the buildup with the double diesel bass. Quite a chorus of melodic noise, lots of atmosphere, everything breaks down and airs out then this strong melody comes in with some guitar, followed by a sweet glitchy breakbeat! Then a drum roll straight to the build out.

5.	Safi Connection – Rock Into the Past (3/5)
!!!.
“Lets go back!” Yeah buttrock guitars!!! Woah the bassline is nuts on this one, hard fast and punchy. The guitar solo is pretty simple but effective and builds well with the other melodies. This story tells the tale of a lonely guitar who finds love with a synthesizer. Oh and then they take over the world, followed by a victory dance.

6.	Psycho Punk – Welcome to My World – (4.5/5)
!!!!
OK this compilation is start to get crazy. This tune lays down pages of trippy sampling and effects over one of the phattest bass lines I’ve heard this year. There are just layers and layers of music all working in unison here. This punk is like a sonic puppeteer, pulling all the strings and making the whole thing pull together into one awesome little show. This one stands on its own.

7.	Raz – Time to Fly – (3.5/5)
!!!!
The intro synth comes in remorseful yet optimistic then whammy there’s the beat. Yes this one is hard and driving. It sounds like humanity after Judgment day, regrouping to kick the machines ass with trance. Raz introduces all these lines of music, takes them out for others then throws them all together here and there as the plot of this song continues on. Great build ups and bring downs.

8.	Psycho Punk – The Beautiful Mind – (3.5/5)
!!!.
The intro is like some guitar line from a Steven Segal movie, you don’t know whats about to happen but its sure as hell gonna be some ninja shit, then comes the funk-a-delic bass line, then it switches to a straight driving push that’s making me kind of sea sick. This one doesn’t strike me as well as the other PP track on this compilation, but still it’s pretty good, PP definitely has a knack for writing sweet bass lines.

9.	Intergalactic – Back to Earth – (2.5/5)
!!!
This track comes in really spacey, like the music is coming through a wormhole and sounding all distorted before it finally makes it to this side. It tells the story of a ship of space pioneers towards the end of a long journey. Exhaustion of the trips mixes with the exuberance of knowing they’re finally there and there is work to be done. But first we party. Decent full-on track.

10.	BPM – Fire Line – (2.5/5)
!!!
We enter in with one of those arpeggiated voices, then on with the galloping bass line. The melody kind of seas back and forth as the track builds up. Then back with the arpeggiated voice. A light airy Hindi sounding melody breaks forth and then back to beat. Then everything winds down towards the end. Whatever happened to saving the best for last?

Here is the Sponsor Letter that you can send out to friends and family to request donations for the Make a Wish foundation…

REQUEST FOR SPONSORSHIP
On Sunday January 20, I am participating in a dance-a-thon called Wishing Well @ Woodley Park to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for this worthwhile charity that has helped so many children. Please visit wishingwellwoodleypark.blogspot.com/ for full details on this event.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions. From humble beginnings with one boy’s wish to be a police officer, Make-A-Wish Foundation has evolved into an organization that grants a child’s wish in the U.S. every 41 minutes. Visit their website http://www.wish.org for more info.

I know we all have good hearts and that we believe in helping worthwhile causes and that is why I am asking you to sponsor me for this event. Sponsors make a donation by check or online and I am committed to dance for the number of hours you choose. For example, if you sponsor me to dance for four hours at $5 per hour, that would be a $20 donation to Make-A-Wish. I will then dance for four straight hours to fulfill my commitment to you.

You can also make a flat sponsorship. All sponsor contributions should be made as a check or money order made directly to the “Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles”. or via pay pal at http://wishingwell2.blogspot.com

NAIAD DAIAD is coming to your town!!!!!!

That's right, kiddies! The wait is over, the gloves are off, and it's time for you to meet NAIAD DAIAD!

NAIAD DAIAD are North America's newest and greatest psychedelic electronic supergroup. Consisting of Brandon Maynard
(Aquarium/The Malah, Greenville SC) and Cooper Howland (OpenSourceCode, NYC) NAIAD DAIAD adamantly refuse to
recognise genre restrictions, rules, or recommendations about what music is supposed to sound like. Instead, we
produce eclectic, freewheeling, effortlessly funky, outrageously danceable music. Equally suited to the chillout or
the main stage, morning, noon or night, NAIAD DAIAD has been under construction for over a year, and is finally
ready for your consumption! We truly hope that you are as hungry for some brand-new, all-orignal, wildly inventive
music as we are to give it to you! The live show consists of two laptops, a guitar with MIDI pickups, microphones,
electronic and organic percussion, hardware synthesizers and whatever else we can manage to drag out to the venue!

We re-dub, re-mix, and improvise in real-time to create an immersive and involving live experience that's impossible to ignore and damn hard not to dance to.

Check us out at www.myspace.com/naiaddaiad, and if you like what you hear, PM us for a link to a FREE 45-minute live promo set!

We are now accepting gigs in New York City, the Southeastern US and festivals worldwide. WE WILL ALSO BE IN THE BAY AREA FROM JUNE 7-14th IN PREPARATION FOR THE GEMINI FESTIVAL if anyone is interested in booking one of the hottest new liveacts in the country, please contact us at naiaddaiad@gmail.com.

See you on the dancefloor!

Unprecedented Tibetan Protests Worldwide

Pro-Tibetan protests have occurred in record numbers across the world showing the Chinese Authority that they may be able to kill and suppress inside Tibet, but the people of the world are speaking ... Protesters in Boston, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Germany, Italy, Mysore, New Delhi, Chennai, Buffalo, Chile, Vienna, Israel, Denmark, Lithuania, Norway, Chicago, Bangkok, Seoul, New York, Sydney, London, San Francisco, Minnesota, Barcelona, Munich, Belgium, Taiwan, Paris, and even a vigil was held in Beijing. Unprecedented numbers of peace marchers, hunger strikes, vigils and protests in front of Chinese Embassies worldwide is surely not what the Communist Chinese Government had intended when they made the decision to 'crackdown' on Tibetans. One report even states that Tibetan protesters were gunned down in broad daylight in the streets of Lhasa. The Israeli parliament held a discussion about "the Genocide in Tibet".

Maybe the world is asking China to have compassion if they want to have their 'precious' Olympic Games if you read in between the lines. Several top athletes have already threatened to boycott the games and Beijing can't even promise clean air for them! I hope for a quick end to the utter stupidity and arrogance of the Chinese Authority in regards to the complete brutalization of any sense of the term 'human rights' amidst this 'crackdown' on autonomy ...

Read ALL of these stories at
With the success of our kickoff party last month, we are proud to present to you on Saturday March 15th 2008, RESONANCE v.2.

This month we are featuring Ghreg on Earth and Audiovoid. We are also switching things up and putting the trance outside and the breaks inside. We will concentrate our energies on featuring local and guest artists of all mediums on a monthly circuit in the Bay Area. Our goal is to provide a monthly trance gathering and to utilize indoor and outdoor venues as the seasons allow.

i'm lookin for some good trance tracks that have been posted on youtube, so i can stick 'em on my tribe.net profile page.

any genre is fine.

my main criteria is a highly idiosyncratic one. simply, it has to be good enough that i end up listening to it 3 or more times in a row.

New mix by Paradigm

Paradigm - 20 cent memory

This is the first mix ive recorded in well over a year. It is suited for that time of morning just as the first rays of sun are begining to break the horrizon. The mix builds from minimal full on, with ever increasing melodies and basslines untill a climatic finish with a gentle let down at the end.
I hope you enjoy this, as this mix is deeply personal for me, as a dear family member passed away while i recording it. As a result, its a live reocrding, with no redos, or studio editing. I felt that i wanted to capture that moment, and preserve it just as it was... thus making this mix as the more special and personal....

I welcome any comments or criticisms

other older mixes are also avail from this link

Hello Bay Area trancers!
Check it out- hope to have Shulman in your area soon with their live show.
:-)

Shulman- Endless Rhythms of the Beatless Heart (AlephZ08)

Release Date: October 15th, 2007

At long last it is here- Shulman's much awaited fourth album- "Endless Rhythms of the Beatless Heart"! After establishing themselves as a leading group in the downtempo electronica world and defying genre definitions, the Shulman duo take the next step and deliver an album, which we at Aleph Zero feel we can honestly say is going to revolutionize the electronic music world.

"Endless Rhythms of the Beatless Heart" comes after 4 years of hard work and offers a combination of electronic and acoustic music that creates something never before heard. Using their unrivaled mastery of sonic manipulation and hosting an impressive cast of highly skilled musicians, playing a vast array of musical instruments from east and west, Shulman manage to construct a musical journey the likes of you've never encountered before.

With this album Shulman once again succeed in building a musical bridge between East and West, Classic and Contemporary, Past and Future. Blending revolutionary hi-tech sounds, classical Indian, Arab & Greek music, Contemporary Jazz and much more, they weave a complex and detailed musical pattern that rests upon the world around us and adds to it an infinite depth and a magical halo.

Hey everyone. Wow, what a killer weekend at Symbiosis. Definitely the best festival I've ever seen in the USA. It was great to see some of you out there, and it was a bummer not to see the rest of you. But that's what Wednesdays are for at SYNCHRONIZE, so we can relive the weekend and party together all over again! This week we are toked to bring you one of San Francisco's best. He took a break from California to move to the Midwest for a while, but he still represents us over there, and is bringing the SF flavor to his new collective over there, Xcience. We're very happy to have back our good friend, PARADIGM! The resident Synchronauts for the evening will be PSYLOTUS and SENTIENT, kickin up some dust for ya.

Once more , SYNCHRONIZE is an open, (usually) FREE (except for when we have international artists playing ;-), unaffiliated party that always provides the friendly atmosphere it is loved for. Music brought to you by our guest DJs, as well as by the resident Synchronauts: Sentient, Gatto Matto, Helios and Psylotus. Come get some tasty drinks, dance and chill out with the friends and family! We hope to see lots of your smiling faces there this week. :-)

Cheers!

******************************
Il Pirata is on 2007 16th Street between Potrero Ave. and Utah Street, and is open from 10pm - 2am. Check out our website for directions, as well as weekly changes to the lineup.

I posted this track a few other other places on tribe and I have gotten nothing but kind and encouraging words from everyone.......so I thought I should try and share my music with a few others who would appreciate it. Very few out there are doing psy breaks so this isn't your typical break or psy trance song; but a happy medium hopefully that will touch more than those who are into only 1 of the 2. Hope you all enjoy.

Greetings Friend, I have room for one person in my car who won't be taking too much stuff along with them, and who would be able to find another ride out of the event as I won't be returning to SJ afterwards. And another friend whom I will caravan up there with also has room for 3 people in her car, and she will be returning to the area afterwards. Lets share in the costs and great company on the journey to the festival.

SOURCE SYNC :: Sept 14-16 :: Derango, Ghreg On Earth, Arahat, Dog Of Tears, Olowanpi, Dai, AnachroniD & more

Journey to the beauty of deep Northern California forest land for a 48 hour gathering of psychedelic vibrations to align with rhythms of natural life in a return to your connection with all that is. Release limiting karma, drama and trauma in an alchemical odyssey of awakening to the inner wisdom within universal patterns of energy flowing as a river through wild ageless spaces. Allow the guidance of nature to enrich your path with more grace, joy, clarity, purpose, passion and creativity for manifesting visions.

On the weekend of Earthdance we join a global dance ritual sending energetic roots to the planet's core and drawing dark Mother Earth essence spiraling to the heart of cosmos for reunion with source. Derango returns to give us more of their Swedish forest magic in a live performance unlike any you will experience on this side of the world along with Ghreg On Earth's first fully live set in California and many others from talented local artists over two days of music progressing through a diverse range of psychedelic genres.

:: Live ::

DERANGO (Sanaton / Parvati :: Sweden)

Jens & Ola began writing their distinctly well crafted psytrance in 2000 which has earned them much respect over the years through phenomenal live performances and groundbreaking releases like their debut album Tumult in 2005. The creativity of Derango is a full expression of the psychedelic experience transferred in music. Their huge sound pictures are created combining a solid warm base with waves of sounds from synths and samples in constant change and movement. The result is a unique wrapping effect that gives to the listeners on one side the safe feeling of the belonging to mother-earth womb and, on the other side, the challenge of discovering and understanding that our mind and spirit have no borders.

GHREG ON EARTH (M.o.E. / Auraquake :: San Francisco)

In the two years since his widely acclaimed debut album Sigilweaver and appearance at the first Mindfull gathering Ghreg has composed an evolution of his unique sound to be shared through powerful live performances including new material from the coming album. As an aural architect, he constructs sonic structures of mysterious, melodious worlds which offer spaces otherwise concealed in the deep abyss of the subconscious. Guided by his passion for cutting edge music, art and literature from the psychedelic and mystical underground, his timeless sound realizes the magical properties of music to guide people into cinematic passages of expanded personal experience.

ARAHAT (Psycircle :: San Diego)

Tom has been scrambling brains for over 12 years with masterful mixes of twisted, groovy, powerful night time psytrance under the moniker Hidroponik. He recently began channeling his own frequencies as Arahat and in collaborations like Arabali (with Mubali), Monks of Madness (with Bodhisattva 13:20), and Brains (with Bodhi and Mubali). His live emanations will send you on a trip through unreal dimensions of aural psychedelia.

DOG OF TEARS (Xexify :: Los Angeles)

Ranging from chaotic noise to dronescapes to industrial beats, David Cohen has been making electronic music of numerous forms under a variety of pseudonyms for the past 11 years. Upon moving from the metro-west area of Massachusetts to Los Angeles four years ago, Dog of Tears became deeply involved in the psychedelic scene and began melding his electronica obscurica with unique, woofer-rattling analog psytrance. In recent months he began collaboratting on a project with Amanda Karg of MoE known as Mugwort Moon. Prepare for an onslaught of dark, driving, distorted frequencies and rhythms replete with live modular analog synthesizer tweekage.

ANACHRONID (Mindfull :: Los Angeles)

Hailing from the dark mysterious forests of Northern California and the concrete jungle of Southern California, Peter and James have been making music together off and on since 2001. This duo created AnachroniD in the beginning of 2005 to explore the depths psychedelic trance has to offer with a focus on creating primal, twisted, organic music.

:: DJ ::

AMBER (Apollo's Lute :: Portland)
BARRATT (Brainbusters :: San Francisco)
CATALYX (Mindfull :: Los Angeles)
DAI (Psytribe :: Los Angeles)

The gathering will be on spectacular private forest land in the Humboldt / Trinity area five hours north of San Francisco so I encourage sharing rides and arriving early to fully experience the two day camping event. Lots of natural food, drinks and merchandise will be on sale plus available space for anyone wanting to contribute goods, services or performances so please send an email to catalyx@mindfullproductions.net if you would like to be involved.

Caravans are being organized so also contact me if you need help with a ride, let's make sure no one shows up with empty seats. Admission is only $30 for limited presale tickets then $35 at the event, see http://www.mindfullproductions.net for more details soon.

Hello to all our friends!
Well, it has finally happened: the Portuguese aliens have taken what was theirs for several years now – that is, Nikita Tselovalnikov, the producer of Penta, the psytrance project that has been seen live in 30 countries around the world. To commemorate this fact, AuraQuake Music is happily releasing “Portuguese Abduction”, the fourth album from Nikita, now an Azores Islands resident. Packed with next generation sounds, unexpected passages and his trademark sampling, this release is a wicked pentadelic circus carousel that takes you on a wild journey through night and day. From deep and dark “No More Evil” to the funky and unpredictable “BBQ” to the vocal and full-on “Neo Cheesy” this album is for everyone. Drawing from his experience in working at the Soviet nuclear laboratory, Nikita has made sure that every track will detonate properly on every dance floor, - huge and tiny. The mastering was provided by Tim Shuldt at the 4CN-Studios, so you can expect fresh and transparent sound all the way.

Twisted D.U.O. - Las Vegas, NV
(Shiva Studios / NV604 www.myspace.com/twistedduo)
"Twisted DUO is a project that is the mastermind of one man, a Las Vegas based dj named Digital Defiant. The project Twisted DUO was designed to be a cybernetic collective in which Digital Defiant is the creative axis. With influences ranging from Ravi Shankar to Depeche Mode and from electronic influences from Brian Eno to Underworld the sounds Twisted DUO are best described as one contributing member called it, "Twisted steel with sex appeal." Sexy, yet psychedelic. Energetic, yet mellow. Exploring sounds that are not only cerebral but topically invigorating. This is music designed to reach those living on the brink of two separate world.

The mission of this collective, as passed down from the gods of techno in the cosmos, is to expand the performance of the electronic music dj. Embracing technology as tools to manipulate sound and forge it into an abyssal of thought, motion, and intrigue. Learn to refuse the programming set inside you to resist natural urges. It's okay to be blissful and content. It's okay to express yourself in a creative manner. Leaning to love yourself will then teach you to love others. Being content with your state of being will allow to not only express yourself freely, but accept others (with all thier flaws intact). This will in turn lead to a a blissful existence."

Force Majeure - Austin, TX
(TOUCH Samadhi people.tribe.net/forcemajeure)
A staple of the Texas psy scene Force Majuere combines perfect technique with prolific track selection. His dark and heavy style draws in and moves the souls of dancers ever where he goes. Mark is a great person all around, from his music and creativity to his open conversation, he is a true supporter of the movement and all those around him.

Gift Culture - Dallas, TX : live PA
(Psymbolic Sounds, www.myspace.com/giftculturemusic/)
"The Gift Culture project is based on sounds, imagery, and art derived from DSP technology, analogue synthesis, and computer-based non-linear editing. As Gift Culture maestro Michael Hale explains,

' In this day and age, it is possible to sculpt light and sound as if they were clay. Any possible sound you can imagine can be created.'

Gift Culture is the result - his attempts to share his explorations in this multi-dimensional space; to evoke sonic textures from samplers, synthesizers, and DSP algorithms that can only come from those things; a journey to discover their "voices", so to speak, using such techniques as granular synthesis, spectral resynthesis, FFT/IFFT based spectral morphing and interpolation, and whatever other exotic algorithms he can coax out of his myriad machines. "

Freedom - Feyetteville, AR
(Esoteric Generation)
A leader and long time veteran of the Northwest Arkansas Psychedelic trance scene freedom has been pleasing crowds for years. His dark and heavy sound is sure to get your boots scootin.

Artificial Life Preserver - Dallas, TX (live pa?)
(Psymbolic Sounds www.myspace.com/artificial...ervermusic)
"ALP has been working to preserve algorythms that behave like living systems since 1997. Insect-like drones and cell based beats drive environmental mixes of organized time units. Drawing from his experience as a member of Texas Psy-trance trio Init-String ALP will bring you a night of abstract, glitchy downtempo that could only come from a mind such as this."

SOURCE SYNC :: Sept 14-16 :: NorCal Forest :: Derango, Ghreg On Earth, Arahat, Dai, Catalyx...

Allow the guidance of nature to enrich your path with more grace, joy, clarity, purpose, power, passion and creativity for manifesting your visions.

On the weekend of Earthdance we join a global ritual sending energetic roots to the planet's core and drawing dark Mother Earth essence spiraling to the heart of cosmos for reunion with the source. Derango returns to give us more of their Swedish forest magic in a live performance unlike any you will experience on this side of the world along with Ghreg On Earth's first fully live set in California and many others from talented local artists over two days of music progressing through a diverse range of psychedelic genres.

:: Live ::

DERANGO (Sanaton / Parvati :: Sweden)

Since the year 2000 Jens & Ola have been writing distinctly well crafted psytrance which earned them much respect in following years through phenomenal live performances and groundbreaking releases such as their debut album Tumult in 2005.

As an aural architect, Ghreg constructs sonic structures of mysterious, melodious worlds which offer spaces otherwise concealed in the deep abyss of the subconscious. Guided by his passion for cutting edge music, art and literature from the psychedelic and mystical underground, his timeless sound realizes the magical properties of music to guide people into cinematic passages of expanded personal experience.

ARAHAT (Psycircle :: San Diego)
ANACHRONID (Mindfull :: Los Angeles)
DOG OF TEARS (Xexify :: San Francisco)

:: DJ ::

DAI (Psytribe :: Los Angeles)
CATALYX (Mindfull :: Los Angeles)
HELIOS (Geomagnetic :: San Francisco)
MIMOSA (Mindfull :: San Francisco)
BELGIAN GOA MADNESS (Mindfull :: Los Angeles)
GAYATRI (Elephanthead :: Eureka)
DROPZONE (Psycircle :: San Diego)
LULU (Elephanthead :: Eureka)
+ MORE TBA

15,000 watt sound by Network 23

Production support by Greentrees

XLR8R by the 0mega Crew

The gathering will be on spectacular private forest land in the Humboldt / Trinity area five hours north of San Francisco so I encourage sharing rides and arriving early to fully experience the two day camping event. Lots of natural food, drinks and merchandise will be on sale plus available space for anyone wanting to contribute goods, services or performances so please send an email to catalyx@mindfullproductions.net if you would like to be involved.

Caravans are being organized so also contact me if you need help with a ride. Admission is only $30 for limited presale tickets then $35 at the event, see http://www.mindfullproductions.net for more details soon.

*** Outpost23 presents IGNITION! ***

Saturday August 4th
$15 at the Door :: 9PM - 6AM
Underground San Francisco Venue
Bar Open All Night ;)

A big hello to all of you lovely people basking in this awesome summer weather from we, the members of Outpost 23. Can you feel it? Can you hear the faint whisper? It's the playa, and she knows it's almost time for her children to come home. In the spirit of getting ready for our yearly trek out to the desert, we'd like to bring you all together for an evening of entrancing music to get your heart moving and feet warmed up for that dusty yet heavenly land. Please, come join Outpost 23 for our Burning Man fundraiser "IGNITION!"

In return, we'll leave you with a sense of enlightenment that will carry you all the way into Black Rock City. As a bonus, all proceeds from this party are going to be going to our new playa project, the BOOMBUS! The BoomBus is the new brainchild of the Outpost 23 crew. Over the last few years, we've come to realize that although many burners loved our playa theatre of hard thumpin' beats at all hours of the night, our neighbors didn't always share this sentiment. Based on that, it came down to one option: this show needs to be taken on the road! That's right folks...this year we're going to be bringing the hard pumping, full-on style right to your doorstep, and we need your help to make it happen!

For the purpose of this special pre-playa evening, we've arranged a delectable lineup that will keep you rockin' from the moment you walk in until your third wind tells you it's time to go home, and perhaps a bit longer.

Audial Wizards:

Paul Taylor (Spun Records, U.K.)

Meta (Highway 604, Geomagnetic.tv)
Konflux (Phar Psyde Records, LA)
Obu (Bombay Power, Outpost 23, Dreamlabs.MX)
*Christine* (Vaporvent Records)
Fanboy (H.O.T.H.)

For those of you who graciously joined us for our fundraiser last year, you'll remember the awesome venue known as "The Cave". The owners have been kind enough to renew our nightly lease, so expect a great dance floor, bar, ventilation, and some incredible sound. Please visit www.outpost23.org for directions the day of the party. We can't wait to see all of your smiling faces!

As can be expected from Deeper in Zen, Silence is a psychedelic masterpiece: Rich in pounding rhythms, overflowing with spacious layers of delicate harmonics, and fresh with thundering bass lines that lift the dancer into ecstatic realms of passionate expression…

Burning Man Dj's needed

Hi all~

My name is Carli and this will be my first year out to Burning man. My partner, Derek and I will be celebrating our wedding and having a party Thursday night in the laser dome. Were currently looking for any Psy / Goa / trance / good music :) dj's interested in throwing down a set. I believe we'll have both cdj's as well as turn tables ( have to check on that). The party will go till sunrise, so chill dj's are welcome for morning sets too.

If you're interested, please post or email Blaize224@gmail.com. There's no time limit on sets, it's a wonderful opportunity to have your music heard by many without any restraint. Lots of lights, fire, and fun!!!

Label Description : Sonic Tantra Records is psychedelic trance label based in India. It is a group of global artists who believe in pushing the edges of the consciousness into magical dimensions using hyper active sonic crafts. The label was founded in 2006 by Sid aka aGh0Ri TanTriK, with the sole intention of pushing the techniques and styles of psytrance into new possibilities! Highly influenced by this company of artists, the objective was to achieve an artistic trance like state where the spirits are joined to become one! This ensures that an energetic change in reality takes place, just like the ancient "Tantra" related rituals and practices. Finally Sonic Tantra releases and artists are banging in the psyscene and creating some very groovay tunage!
